FAQ

Q: How is my R20 or R21 licence locked to C4D?

A: Your Gumroad License Key is used to lock the copy of your plugins to your computer. If you change your computers hardware and your plugins stop working then just let us know and we will help you get the activated again.

Q: How do I find my licences?

A: Your license key will be emailed to you from Gumroad.

Q: Can I move my licences between machines?

A: No. You will need a license for each computer that you wish to use the plugins on.

Q: Can I use my plugins on more than one machine?

A: No. You will need a license for each computer that you wish to use the plugins on.

Q: I previously bought one of your bundles for R17, R18, R19 or R20. Can I upgrade to R21+?

A: Just get in touch with us and let us know what you bought and when. We are happy to help.

Q: I have R20 plugins that needed activating in the Help->Personalize dialog in C4D. Can I use the new Plugin Manager with my plugins?

A: No. These older plugins will no longer work with the new Plugin Manager. Instead you can get in touch with us with the details of your purchase and we can help you out.

Q: I just installed your R20 plugins and there is nothing in the Help->Personalize menu.

A: We don’t use that anymore. We have changed to using a new licensing system that doesn’t rely on Cinema 4D. Since R21 removed this previous system we needed to move on as well. The good news is that we now have the exact same plugin versions on R20 and R21 and they both use the same new licencing system from here on. For more information on licencing please check out the documentation for our Plugin Manager.

Q: Does your Plugin Manager always check online when I run Cinema 4D? Do I need to be online to use your plugins?

A: Absolutely not. The plugins only do an online check when you activate your plugin. It never needs to check with anything online ever again. As soon as you have activated your plugin any further licence checks are all done locally on your machine.
